It is winter, and there is still a heaviness in the air. I know sadness has weight, I can feel the pressure of it all in the stiffness of my shoulders. It presses down on my spine and curves through out my vertebrate. It crushes my lungs and lays stacked and dormant, like a sleeping dragon, beneath my rib cage.
Dad used to tell me that secrets are evil, that you should never hold something so terrible that you can tell no one. And yet mum taught me that you love with the smallest, most secret pieces of your heart, so that you could hide it away and no one could take that love from you. I'm still not sure who to believe.

I've been trying to clean my room for hours. I haven't seen my DaDA textbook in over a week. Dawlish is going to bludgeon me soon. I could probably talk a house elf into doing it but that just makes me feel lazy. And it's not like I haven't been cleaning because I've been lazy. It's been a busy week.
Except for now. Now I'm just lazy.
